Val Jean-Charles, Artistic Director & Founder
Teaching in Contemporary Modern Dance/Ballet
Educated at London Contemporary School of Dance. He has worked with Scandinavia Dance icon, Randi Patterson and was invited to work with Denmark's The New Danish Dance Theatre with Warren Spears. Danced in the opening of Denmark's Dansescenen in Copenhagen "400 Meter Ballet" and worked with one of London's most known dancer/choreographer Carol Stracker Dance Foundation and Arlene Phillips in "Hot Gossip" including one of America's leading choreographers David Toguri in the feature film that Stared David Bowie in "Absolute Beginners" and The London City Ballet.
Laura Demaria
Teaching in Ballet
Educated as ballet dancer at Scuola di danza classica Jaqueline De Min in Italy, where she has been dancing in many of the classical ballet of the repertoire. She moved to Denmark to study at the department of Arts and Cultural Studies at the University of Copenhagen. Graduate in 2002 in History of Scandinavian Theatre and History of the Danish Ballet, specializing in August Bournonville. She is a certified Gyrotonic level 1 pre-trainer and Gyrokinesis level 1 Trainer. She been teaching Ballet and Gyrotonic Gyrokinesis in Copenhagen since 2003 for different schools and dance educations.
Malin Sofia Astor
Teaching in Jazz/Show
Educated at Performing Arts School in Gothenburg 1997. She moved to London in 1999, where she studied and worked as a dancer for a few years. She has performed in various shows and musicals around Europe such as Cats, Another Brick in the Wall, Beauty And The Beast, Fame, The Merry Widow, Crazy For You, My Fair Lady and Evita. Lead singer in the band "Right on Time" which toured Japan and Australia. She has worked for 3 years as a dancer in Liseberg Show Company as well as Wallmans Salonger. Performed in music videos for artists such as Wyclye Jean, Funk Star Deluxe and Damage.
Nathalie Dispagne
Teaching in Street
Educated at Paris VIII Arts University in 2005 and Broadway Dance Center in 2007 New-York. Her dance strengths and abilities leaded her to work with famous Hip Hop choreographers such as Brian Green, Spex or Derrell Bullock. Her international dance credits includes, The Lion King Musical, a world full of life, New York Off-Broadway show, The Flycatcher's Identity, Grammy Award recipient, The Will Calhoun Show, New York Summer Stage, MTV Free motion, Roots of Hip-Hop show, Kwanzaa Festival, Eddy Kenzo concert. She also founded Mamachee, a not- for- profit organization that combines dance with education and humanitarian programs in Africa.
Tanja Foss
Teaching In Body Conditioning
Educated at Iwanson International School of Contemporary Dance, London Contemporary Dance School and Alvin Ailey in New York and has a completed Pedagogy Course in Horton Technique from the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater in Horton Technique. Tanja foss has danced and taught all her life and has appeared in everything from modern dance companies, television and film productions for Circus, Tivoli revues and large musicals as West Side Story, Crazy For You, Evita, etc. As a choreographer she has worked for music videos, revues, theater, television and film productions.
Josefine Blom
Teaching in Nutrition
Student at CET (Center for Ernaering og Terapi) in Copenhagen to become a nutrition therapist. Also studying anatomy, physiology and pathology. Certified aerobics instructor from Hard Work Studio (now called Fitness.dk) in 1992. Certified Pilates and Pump instructor from SATS. Currently working with dancers to create flexibility, endurance and core strength as well as being a personal instructor, groove facilitator and Argentine tango dancer. Not to mention a lifelong love and necessary interest for the healing powers of food and supplements.
