1 Year Preparation Line - "Dance as a profession"

It is an inspirational opportunity to receive professional dance tuition and prepare you to go further onto a fulltime dance education at an international university level.
Dance is an art form of great recognition and it requires a high level of commitment, this is a golden opportunity to start to take the steps needed to begin the process of entering the professional dance world and also finding out who you are and do you have what it takes. The talent, discipline, dedication and the will to work hard, turning the thoughts of becoming a professional dancer, into reality.
Class participation
The preparation line will focus on all the disciplines that is require by the dance world. Ballet, Modern Contemporary Dance, Technical Jazz, Hip-hop and Street, Composition, Improvisation and Choreography, in order to be competitive, to know the demands and expectations that will be put upon you to become one of today’s professional dancers.
Over a period of one year (two semester, 32 weeks) students will shape their bodies and minds, learning to structure and focus on key technical awareness to cope with the aspects of different choreographic dance styles to raise their technical skills so that they are able to succeed at an audition to enter professional dance universities to study full time. Classes are held daily, Monday to Friday from 10:00 until 13:20. Each lesson will be 75/90 minutes and there will be 10 lessons a week.
Location
The Pre-professional program, “dance as a profession” is based in Copenhagen Denmark.
Examination
On completion of the one year preparation line, the participating students will receive a certified certificate as proof and confirmation of their dance education. The students will also be offer the possibility to enter Dance Educational’s three professional dance program which has been intensified into two years, based in Copenhagen/Denmark. This is an opportunity that should not be missed. In order to ensure students get maximum and best attention by the teachers, limited place will be available, so apply in good time.
Fees and enrolment
The tuition fee is 40.000 Danish Kroner for the total Preparation Line of one year, two semester: A deposit of a tuition fee 20.000 Danish Kroner should be paid in advance to secure your place at Dance Educational’s preparation line no later than three weeks after you have been accepted. There-after the second and final part of the tuition fee, 20.000 Danish Kroner should be paid 6 weeks before the semester begins. Maximum places is 15.
The course will be suitable for beginners, those that have a little or some dance knowledge and those that are seeking to apply for a three year full time dance education. Application is from 18 years of age. The semester will start on 22 August 2016.

Applicants wishing to apply for the preparation dance line to start in the academic year of August 2016 will be given a personal interview via Skype. Interviews are from 4 January 2016 until 31 July 2016.
